Romansh Wins Excelsior Stakes at Aqueduct Racetrack
Las Vegas, NV - The $150,000 Grade 3 Excelsior Stakes was run on Saturday, March 22 at Aqueduct Racetrack in Queens, New York - a 1 1/8 mile test for horses three years old and upward. Coupled entries, Godolphin-owned duo of Romansh and Long River were very much the best in the Excelsior finishing 1-2 as the 1-4 favorites in the field of six. Percussion finished third - another 4 1/4 lengths back while Dawly, Praetereo, and Don Dulce completed the order of finish. Mr Palmer scratched.
