Las Vegas, NV - The $300,000 Grade 2 Gazelle Stakes took place at Aqueduct Racetrack in Queens, New York on Saturday, April 5. Todd Pletcher trained My Miss Sophia left little doubt about who was best - winning by an impressive 7 1/4 lengths as the 4-5 favorite. My Miss Sophia officially qualified for the Kentucky Oaks at Churchill Downs with the win. Another Pletcher trainee Got Lucky finished second while Grade 1 winner Sweet Reason was third. Vero Amore, Bird Maker and Wraith completed the order of finish.
