Noble Moon Wins Jerome Stakes at Aqueduct Racetrack
Las Vegas, NV - Aqueduct Racetrack in frigid Queens, New York played host to the $200,000 Grade 2 Jerome Stakes Saturday, January 4 - a one mile, 70 yard test for three year olds. Odds-on-choice Noble Moon did the expected and won in relatively easy fashion by two lengths at 4-5 odds. Second choice Classic Giacnroll finished second while the maiden Scotland was 2 1/2 lengths back in third. Matuszak, Lawmaker, Mental Iceberg and Master Lightning followed, with Pin and Win eased in the stretch.
