Frosted Wins Wood Memorial at Aqueduct
Las Vegas, NV - The $1 million Grade 1 Wood Memorial Stakes went down at Aqueduct Racetrack in Queens, New York on Saturday, April 4. Kiaran McLaughlin 2-1 second choice Frosted finally broke through in graded stakes company after some close calls the last few months and in turn earned 100 points toward the Kentucky Derby May 2. Longshot Tencendur finished a good second with El Kabeir holding on for third. Daredevil, the 2-1 favorite, finished fourth followed by Tiz Shea D in fifth, Toasting Master in sixth, and Lieutenant Colonel.
