Arlington Million Stakes at Arlington Park Results
Las Vegas, NV - The biggest race on a busy Saturday August 17 of graded stakes racing in North America took place at Arlington Park - the $1 million Grade 1 Arlington Million was contested for horses three years old and upward. The race featured a little controversy - a DQ finish determined the winner. Ken and Sarah Ramsey completed quite a day when 8-1 shot Real Solution was named winner of the Millions after a win earlier in the Secretariat Stakes and the Sword Dancer. The Apache who originally crossed the line first was seen to bump Real Solution during the stretch drive. The Apache wound up second at 6-1 odds while long shot 24-1 Side Glance finished third. Completing the order of finish were Finnegans Wake, Temeraine, last year's winner Little Mike, Grandeur, Mull of Killough, Guest of Honor, Hunter's Light, Rahystrada, Nates Mineshaft, and Indy Point.
