Las Vegas, NV - The $250,000 Grade 2 Del Mar Derby went down on Del Mar turf on Sunday, September 6 - a 1 1/8 miles test for three year olds. It was 5-2 second choice Om that dominated in gate-to-wire fashion and prevailed by 2 1/4 lengths. The longest shot in the field, 30-1 Royal Albert Hall finished a very good second while 1-5 favorite Prospect Park disappointed en route to a third place finish in the field of seven. Crittenden finished an even fourth, followed by Soul Driver, Papacoolpapacool, and Win the Space, to complete the order of finish.
