G. G. Ryder Wins San Francisco Mile at Golden Gate Fields
Las Vegas, NV - Golden Gate Field in Berkeley, California was the scene of the $100,000 Grade 3 San Francisco Mile on Saturday, April 25 - a turf test for horses three years old and upward. G. G. Ryder recorded his first ever graded stakes win as the 3-1 second choice - by a half length over Summer Hit who was second and Are You Kidding Me who got up for third. Last year's winner Pepper Crown rallied from last place to finish fourth Saturday, 2 lengths behind G.G. Ryder. Tiz Dynamic was fifth, followed by 2-1 favorite Edge of Reality, Toruk Makto, and Polytechnicien to complete the order of finish.
