Cairo Prince Wins Holy Bull Stakes at Gulfstream Park
Las Vegas, NV - The $400,000 Grade 2 Miller Lite Holy Bull Stakes was contested Saturday, January 25 at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale, Florida - a 1 1/16 mile test for three year olds. 2-1 favorite Cairo Prince served notice that he will be a serious name to watch on the Road to the Kentucky Derby when he won by 5 3/4 lengths in the field of 11. Cairo Prince, in turn earned the 10 qualification points for the Kentucky Derby in May. Conquest Titan finished a good second while Intense Holiday finished a length back of second to finish third. Completing the order of finish were Almost Famous, Best Plan Yet, Financial Mogul, Mr Speaker, Our Caravan, Wicked Strong, Coup de Grace, and Big Bazinga.
