Sweet Whiskey Wins Old Hat Stakes at Gulfstream Park
Las Vegas, NV - A field of six lined up in the $100,000 Grade 3 Old Hat Stakes at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale, Florida Saturday, January 4. 8-5 choice Sweet Whiskey registered her first ever stakes victory by an impressive 2 3/4 lengths. Stablemate Co Cola finished a good second, 4 3/4 lengths ahead of Aurelia's Belle. Zensationall Bunny and Milam completed the order of finish while tragically; Side Street broke down in the stretch and had to be put down.
