Night Prowler Wins Dania Beach Stakes at Gulfstream Park
Las Vegas, NV - The $100,000 Grade 3 Dania Beach Stakes went down on Gulfstream Park turf on Saturday, January 3 - a 7 1/2 furlong test for three year olds. Paul Pompa Jr.'s homebred Giant's Causeway gelding, 2-1 second choice Night Prowler utilized a tremendous stretch run to record his first stakes win - by a half length over front runner, 6-1 shot A Lot and Croninthebarbarian who got up for third at 9-1 odds. Wayward Kitten was fourth, followed by Mostly Mozart, 9-5 favorite Smokem Kitten, Stormy Wayllen, Crown the Kitten, Valuetempo, and Kutuzov.
