Rerun Wins Miami Mile at Gulfstream Park
Las Vegas, NV - Gulfstream Park turf in Hallandale Beach, Florida played host to the $100,000 Grade 3 Miami Mile on Saturday, April 24. 21-1 longshot World Thoroughbreds Racing homebred Rerun posted the biggest win of his career and first graded stakes score as he emerged by a half length over 2-1 favorite Grand Tito. Shatak finished third while second choice Storming Inti weakened to fourth and was followed by Inchcape, Adios Nardo, McIlroy, Hammers Terror, and Sette E Mezzo. Middleburg was an early scratch by trainer Christophe Clement because of the rain and stablemate Red Vine was scratched as a main-track-only entrant.
