Las Vegas, NV - The Grade 3 Pan American Stakes took place on Gulfstream Park turf on Saturday, March, 28 - a 1 1/2 mile test that featured nine older horses. 5-2 second choice Imagining snapped a five race losing streak by three quarters of a length over 12-1 shot Pyrite Mountain who finished a good second. Even money favorite Twilight Eclipse finished third followed by Artic North, Money Talker, Street Chief, Desvelo, Change of Command, and Glenard, who stopped badly as the 3-1 third-choice.
