Las Vegas, NV - The $200,000 Grade 2 Swale Stakes, originally scheduled for February 28 was run this past Saturday, March 7 in Hallandale Beach, Florida. Tom Albertrani trained Ready for Rye posted the upset win at 6-1 odds in the seven furlong test for three year olds - by 2 3/4 lengths over overwhelming 3-5 favorite Daredevil. Senor Grits finished 10 lengths back in third. Bluegrass Singer, Social Request, and X Y Jet rounded out the order of finish. Souper Colossal and Twotwentyfive A scratched.
