Madeira Park Wins Ballerina Stakes at Hastings Racecourse
Las Vegas, NV - The $100,000 Grade 3 Ballerina Stakes went down at Hastings Park in Vancouver, British Columbia Monday, October 14. A field of 12 lined up in the 1 1/8 mile test for fillies and mares. Madeira Park, with Hastings leading rider Rico Walcott aboard, raced to victory as favorite with Wando Woman getting second and Touching Promise finishing a good third. Locket finished fourth followed by Terlani, Castinette Dancer, Dashing Daisy, Saturday Nite, Miss Derek, Cry Cry Cry, Rainbowsinthewood and Lady Henrietta.
