British Columbia Derby winner Alert Bay emerged victorious in the 1 3/8 mile test by a neck as the morning line favorite. Long shot Mysterious Soul finished a good second while Shooting Jacket got up for a respectable third. Koffee Grinder, Mr. Bowling, Deadly Truth, Remembertobreathe, Wilo Kat and Prohibition completed the order of finish.
