Las Vegas, NV - The $150,000 Grade 2 Royal Heroine Mile went down on Saturday, July 6 on Betfair Hollywood Park turf. 11-10 Favorite Schiaparelli, making her first start around two turns recorded her first graded stakes score leading all the way and eventually posting victory by a half-length. It was Schiaparelli`s first start beyond 6 1/2 furlongs. Egg Drop put up a serious charge in her first stakes action but in the end but fell short. My Gi Gi finished third followed by I Dazzle and Stormy Lucy. Appealing scratched.
