Power Broker Wins Indiana Derby at Indiana Downs
Las Vegas, NV - The $500,000 Grade 2 Indiana Derby took place at Indiana Downs in Shelbyville, Indiana Saturday, October 5. Bob Baffert trained Power Broker came up with the win in the 1 1/16 mile test for three year olds on a sloppy track. Bradester held on for second, a half-length on fast-closing Holy Lute. Micromanage rallied from far to finish a nose back in fourth. Uncaptured, Fordubai, Mr Palmer, Ruler of Love, Edge of Reality, Bad Hombre, Miraculousmo and Skilltopaythebills completed the order of finish while Ground Transport, Midnight Taboo and Take It Like a Man scratched.
