Tiz Shea D Wins Indiana Derby at Indiana Grand
Las Vegas, NV - Indiana Grand Racing & Casino played host to the $500,000 Grade 2 Indiana Derby this past Saturday, July 18. A decent group of three year olds took part in the 1 1/16 mile dirt test. 4-1 third betting choice Tiz Shea D ran the perfect race, tracking the pace and winning by 1 1/4 lengths - his first graded stakes score. 7-2 second betting choice Mr. Z finished with 7-5 favorite Divining Rod getting in for third. Bold Conquest was fourth, followed home by Island Town, Far Right, Alabaster, and Deliverance Day.
