Room Service Wins Ashland Stakes at Keeneland Racecourse
Las Vegas, NV - The $500,000 Grade 1 Ashland Stakes for three year olds fillies provided one of the more thrilling finishes imaginable on Saturday, April 5. Rosalind and Room Service hit the wire together for a dead-heat atop the 1 1/16-mile race on the Polytrack surface at Keeneland. It was Keeneland's first dead heat in a Grade 1 stakes race. Both earned 70 qualifying points toward the Kentucky Oaks May 2. Thank You Marylou was seven lengths back in third place while Testa Rossi, the favorite, was another 1-1/2 lengths back in fourth followed by Saturday Bliss, Miss Besilu, On the Backstreets, Candy Kitty, Seeking Her Glory, Resistivity, Istanford, Macaroon and Ireland.
