Wise Dan Wins Shadwell Turf Mile at Keeneland
Las Vegas, NV - The $1 million Grade 1 Shadwell Turf Mile was contested at Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky on Saturday, October 4. Predictably, two-time Horse of the Year and 9-10 favorite Wise Dan came from last and emerged by a length over 19-1 shot Grand Arch. Wise Dan will undoubtedly be the favorite for the Breeders' Cup Mile for which he earned an automatic berth into. Sayaad finished a good third with Kaigun, Silver Max, Seek Again, Optimizer, and Two Notch Road completing the order of finish.
