Las Vegas, NV - Keeneland turf in Lexington, Kentucky played host to the $100,000 Grade 3 Sycamore Stakes on Thursday, October 16. Graham Motion trained Holiday Star posted the minor upset - by a half length at 4-1 odds for his first stakes win. Pacesetter and 19-10 favorite Red Rifle finished second with Villandry got up for third. Tricky Hat was fourth, followed by second choice and 125 pound top weight Unitarian, and Cozy Kitten. Aldous Snow, Mister Marti Gras, and St. Albans Boy all scratched.
