Leigh Court Wins Thoroughbred Club of America Stakes at Keeneland
Las Vegas, NV - Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky hosted the Grade 2 Thoroughbred Club of America Stakes on Saturday, October 4. Melnyk Racing Stables' Leigh Court proved to be too much in the six furlong main track test. Leigh Court will next take part in the Breeders' Cup Sprint in a few weeks' time. Rusty Arnold finished a good second with even money favorite Stonetastic getting up for a somewhat disappointing third. Speedinthruthecity, R Free Roll, and Janis's Joy completed the order of finish. Anahauc and Northern Passion scratched.
