Las Vegas, NV - The $1 million Grade 1 Filly & Mare Sprint was contested at Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky on Saturday October 31. It was 10-1 shot Wavell Avenue that, thanks to a strong closing kick, prevailed in the field of 14. Front runner La Verdad couldn't hold on but finished second with Taris getting in for third. Morning line favorite Cavorting finished fourth, defending champion Judy the Beauty was fifth followed by Merry Meadow, Room for Me, Stonetastic, Kiss to Remember, Sweet Whiskey, Dame Dorothy, Super Majesty, Fioretti and Artemis Agrotera.
