Divining Rod Wins Lexington Stakes at Keeneland
Las Vegas, NV - Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky was the scene of the $250,000 Grade 3 Coolmore Lexington Stakes on Saturday, April 11. Seven three year olds took to the track for this 1 1/16 mile test - the last Kentucky Derby qualifier awarded 10-4-2-1 points for the first to fourth place finishers. Lael Stable's homebred Divining Rod posted the easy win by three lengths at 5-2 odds with 8-5 favorite Donworth finishing second and Fame and Power, who was also sent off at 5-2 odds getting in for third. Comfort was next followed by Henry Jones, Tiznow R J, and Quimet.
