Tepin Wins Jenny Wiley Stakes at Keeneland Racetrack
The $350,000 Grade 1 Coolmore Jenny Wiley Stakes went down on Keeneland Racetrack turf in Lexington, Kentucky on Saturday, April 16 - a 1 1/16 mile race for fillies and mares four years old and upward. Reigning Eclipse Award winner for Female Turf Tepin continued her unstoppable run winning her fifth race in a row and her third straight on Keeneland grass - this time by an easy five lengths as the overwhelming 2-5 favorite in the field of nine. 9-1 shot Wekeela closed to get second, and Illuminant hung on for third at 37-1 odds. Dacita (CHI) was fourth followed by Recepta, Tiger Ride, She's Not Here, Itsonlyactingdad and Akatea (IRE) to complete the order of finish. Miss Temple City scratched.
