Second betting choice - filly Academic bested the field of 10 males by an easy eight lengths. Witt Six finished second, 6 1/4 lenghts ahead of 29-1 shot Cowboys Don't Cry while Bodhisattva, even money favorite Blue Dancer, Aztec Key, Xtreme Denigray, Afleet In Time, Timeless Tale, Quality Lane, Centrefire and Purple Heaven completed the order of finish.
