Frosted Wins Pennsylvania Derby at Parx Racing
Las Vegas, NV - The $1 Million Grade 2 Pennsylvania Derby was contested at Parx Racing in Bensalem, Pennsylvania on Saturday, September 19 - a lucrative 1 1/16 mile race for three year olds. Even money favorite Frosted was best on the day emerging by two lengths in the field of nine. Iron Fist came second with 15-1 shot Tommy Macho getting in for third. Rounding out the field was second choice Upstart, War Story, Madefromlucky, Island Town, and Battle Midway. Gimme Da Lute was scratched.
