Broadway Empire Wins Oklahoma Derby at Remington Park
Las Vegas, NV - The $400,000 Grade 3 Oklahoma Derby went down at Remington Park on Sunday, September 29. Broadway Empire, off two nice wins in Canada produced the slight upset win at 3-1 odds Sunday by an impressive four lengths over Cameo Appearance who was sent off at 9-1 odds and 22-1 shot Carve who finished third. 1-5 favorite Departing faded and finished a very disappointing fourth followed by Braveman, Holiday Mischief, Texas Bling, and He Has Bling.
