Las Vegas, NV - The $250,000 Grade 1 FrontRunner Stakes gave us a glimpse into a few potential contenders for next year's Triple Crown when a group of two year olds went 1 1/16 miles at Santa Anita Saturday, September 28. 10-1 shot - Doug O'Neill trained Bond Holder came up with the 2 1/4 length victory and guaranteed himself a spot in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile in November with the win. 2-1 favorite Dance With Fate finished second while Tamarando finished third. Can the Man was fourth and was followed by Flat Gone, Test Ride, Better Bet, Ontology, Even Echo, and Roundupthelute. Schoolofhardrocks was scratched Saturday morning.
