Las Vegas, NV - The Main Event on Breeders' Cup Saturday, November 1 at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California, the $5 million Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Classic certainly didn't disappoint. Bayern scored a controversial win at 6-1 odds after appearing to impede favorite Shared Belief right out of the gate. After a steward's review, Bayern's win was upheld. 18-1 shot Toast of New York finished a good second with 4-1 second choice California Chrome finishing third. 5-2 favorite Shared Belief wound up fourth with Tonalist and Candy Boy next. Cigar Street finished seventh, followed by Zivo, Imperative, Footbridge, V. E. Day, Prayer for Relief, Majestic Harbor, and Moreno.
