Beholder Wins Zenyatta Stakes at Santa Anita
Las Vegas, NV - The $300,000 Grade 1 Zenyatta Stakes went down at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California this past Saturday, September 29. Dual Champion Beholder defended her title in the 1 1/6 mile test, winning by three quarters of a length over 15-2 shot Tiz Midnight. It was 3 1/4 lengths back to 2-1 second choice Iotapa in third. Tiz Midnight was fourth followed by Yahilwa and Wittgenstein. Tiz the Key was scratched.
