Las Vegas, NV - Three year old fillies took center stage at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California on Saturday, December 26 when the seven furlong $300,000 Grade 1 La Brea Stakes was run. It was 10-1 shot Birdatthewire that came up late and emerged victorious for her first graded stakes score. 7-2 third choice Hot City Girl finished a good second with 7-5 favorite Cavorting getting up for third. 3-1 second choice Ben's Duchess was fourth followed by Rattataptap, Finest City, Maybellene, Moyo Honey and Pleasant Tales to complete the order of finish.
