It was 8-1 shot Finnegans Wake that upset the field in the 1 1/8 miles test - coming from last to post the one length score. 13-1 shot Patrioticandproud took second by three-quarters of a length over Power Ped, who was sent off at 26-1 odds. 17-10 favorite Tom's Tribute finished a disappointing fourth in the field of eight with Skyring, Dynamic Sky, Big Bane Theory, and Edge of Reality completing the order. Persuasive Paul scratched.
