The $400,000 G1 Triple Bend Stakes went down Saturday, March 11 at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California. Horses four years old and upward were featured when they took to Santa Anita's dirt track and raced seven furlongs. Gilman Racing, Westside Rentals, and W.C. Racing's homebred Denman's Call posted the huge upset in the field of seven at 16-1 odds with 1-2 favorite Masochistic getting second. 19-1 shot Conquest Cobra finished another 4 1/4 lengths back in third while 4-1 second choice Silent Bird was fourth and Kobe's Back and Point Piper completed the order of finish. Nowalking was pulled up in the final turn and did not finish.
