Las Vegas, NV - Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, New York was the scene of the $500,000 Grade 1 King's Bishop Stakes on Saturday, August 24 - a seven furlong test for three year olds. Capo Bastone provided the huge upset emerging victorious at 28-1 odds. 8-1 shot Mentor Cane who led most of the way settled for second, with Central Banker third at 22-1 odds. Forty Tales, the 5-2 favorite finished fourth. Overanalyze was fifth followed by Slan Abhaile, Salutos Amigos, Miraculousmo, No Distinction, Bad Hombre, Integrity, and Let Em Shine. Declan's Warrior trailed the field for a quarter-mile and was eased, but walked off the course.
