Slight 5-2 second choice Bashart led right from the gate and posted an impressive victory by 1 1/4 lengths in the 1 1/16 mile test for two year olds. 7-1 shot River Dancer finished second while Marvin's Miracle got up for third. Tiger Bourbon finished fourth, followed by Base Case Scenario, 5-2 second choice We Miss Artie, and Racetrack Romance.
