Las Vegas, NV - The $600,000 Grade 1 Jim Dandy Stakes was contested at Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, New York on Saturday, July 26. 2-1 shot Wicked Strong, wearing blinkers for the first time emerged by 2 1/4 lengths over 9-10 favorite Tonalist to put himself back firmly on the radar. Kid Cruz was third followed by Kentucky Derby runner-up Commanding Curve, Ulanbator and Legend. Cousin Stephen, the likely pacesetter, was scratched.
