Las Vegas, NV - The $350,000 Grade 1 Hopeful Stakes for two year olds was contested at Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, New York on Labor Day Monday, September 7. Reddam Racing's homebred 6-1 fourth choice Ralis posted the upset win with 2-1 favorite Magna Light finishing second and Uncle Vinny getting up for third. Sallisaw was fourth, followed by Tom's Ready, Set the Trappe, and Bullet Gone Astray. Sticksstatelydued was a veterinarian scratch.
