Mrs McDougal Wins Lake George Stakes at Saratoga Race Course
Las Vegas, NV - The $200,000 Grade 2 Lake George Stakes went down on the turf of Saratoga Race Course on Friday, July 24. Mrs McDougal bested the field of nine three year old fillies by a half length at 9-2 odds. Feathered was caught at the end but still wound up second while Cara Maria held on for third. 2-1 favorite Partisan Politics finished fourth, All in Fun was fifth, followed by Jellicle Ball, Mississippi Delta, Robillard, and Sivoliere to complete the order of finish. Celestine, Lady Zuzu, and My Year Is a Day were scratched.
