Las Vegas, NV - The turf of Saratoga Race Course in New York played host to the $200,000 Grade 2 National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame Stakes on Friday, August 7 - a 1 1/16 mile race for three year olds. Klaravich Stables and William Lawrence's 4-1 second betting choice Takeover Target was best on the day emerging by a half length for his first stakes score. A Lot finished second at 6-1 on the morning line with 15-1 shot Courtier getting third. World Approval was fourth followed by 3-1 favorite Startup Nation, Winter Springs, Vision Perfect, Sailthehighseas, High Noon Rider, Gorgeous Bird, and Night Prowler. Croninthebarbarian was scratched.
