In turn, Verrazano remained unbeaten and jumped to the top of the points race on the "Road to the Kentucky Derby" with his 50 point haul. 32-1 shot Java's War held on for second and earned 20 points while Falling Sky finished third, 7 1/4 lengths behind the winner, garnering a valuable 10 points toward qualification for the Run for the Roses. Completing the order of finish were Dynamic Sky, Eton Blue, Park City, Honorable Dillon, Offlee Fast, and Purple Egg.
