Ken and Sarah Ramsey's We Miss Artie posted the victory by a nose as the 7-2 second choice on the morning line and in turn gained 50 points toward qualification into the Kentucky Derby in May. Harry's Holiday finished second while Coastline came up for third. Asserting Bear, Big Bazinga, All Tied Up, Arctic Slope, 2-1 favorite Tamarando, Solitary Ranger, Poker Player, Almost Famous, and Smart Cover completed the order of finish.
