Las Vegas, NV - Snowy Woodbine in Toronto, Ontario played host to the $200,000 Bessarabian Stakes on Sunday, November 16 - a seven furlong Polytrack test for older fillies and mares. 5-2 morning line favorite Hillaby prevailed by 2 3/4 lengths after an impressive stretch run. Disco Barbie was a clear second with Sky Treasure getting up for third. Silent Star finished fourth, followed by Cat Lore, Cryptic Message, Midnight Ballet, Native Bombshell, Strike the Moon, Dauphine Russe, and Grace Phil. Pirate's Trove was a stewards' scratch.
