Deceptive Vision Wins Canadian Stakes at Woodbine
Las Vegas, NV - Woodbine turf in Toronto, Ontario played host to the $300,000 Grade 2 Canadian Stakes on Sunday, September 14. Deceptive Vision came up victorious in the 1 1/8 mile test - by 2 1/2 lengths over 22-1 shot Royal Fury. Deceptive Vision gets a shot at the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf as a result of the win. Pacesetter La Tia faded and finished third in the field of 10 fillies and mares followed by Meri Shika, Dance Again, Industrial Policy, Savvy Hester, Skylander Girl, Solid Appeal, and the 3-2 favorite Lexie Lou who was eased slightly in the stretch.
