Las Vegas, NV - Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto, Ontario played host to the $200,000 Grade 2 Summer Stakes on Saturday, September 13 - a one mile turf test for two year olds. 3-1 third choice, maiden Conquest Typhoon dominated the field of eight emerging by 4 1/2 lengths. Conquest Titan earned an automatic berth into the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf with the win. Samuel Dechamplain finished a good second with U S Marshal getting in for third. Less Than Perfect, Ethical Funds, Crown Prince, Second choice Imperial Dream, and 3-2 favorite Saratoga Dreamer completed the order of finish. Morning line favorite Conquest Tsunami scratched.
