Interpol Wins Northern Dancer Turf Stakes at Woodbine Racetrack
Las Vegas, NV - The $300,000 Grade 1 Northern Dancer Turf Stakes was contested on Woodbine turf in beautiful Toronto, Ontario on Sunday, September 13. JMJ Racing Stables' 10-1 shot Interpol posted the huge upset in the 1 1/2 mile test for older horses - his first ever Grade 1 score. Habibi, the only female in a field of nine finished a game second with Triple Threat three-quarters of a length back in third. Favored Lucky Speed, Oil Strike, second choice Danish Dynaformer, Ami's Holiday, Aldous Snow, and Glenard completed the order of finish.
