Las Vegas, NV - The first race in the new "Road to the Kentucky Derby", the Grade 2 Remsen Stakes is on tap for this Saturday, November 24 from Aqueduct. Some of the finest juveniles around will be featured as they go 1 1/8 miles on Aqueduct's main track as they chase their share of the $250,000 purse.
A strong field of 10 two year olds has been confirmed for the Remsen. It is race 7 on Aqueduct's Saturday card with a post time of 2:51 PM. Here is a look at all of the Kentucky Derby hopefuls and their past performances ahead of this important, points gathering Grade 2 stakes. A points system of 10-4-2-1 for the first through fourth place finishers will be rewarded.
Vegas No Show - Kelly Breen colt expected to do well here. After a third in his debut he won a one mile maiden race at Delaware Park in his second career start. He had a disappointing sixth three back in the Grade 2 Three Chimneys Hopeful at Saratoga but has been much better in his last two outings. He won the minor Dover Stakes October 6 and was a close second last time out in the Grade 2 Nashua Stakes here November 4.
Overanalyze - Todd Pletcher entry that has two wins and a third place finish in four career starts. He started with a Maiden Special Weight score at Saratoga on August 9, finished fourth in the Grade 2 Three Chimneys Hopeful behind early Kentucky Derby favorite Shanghai Bobby and followed that up with an impressive win in the Grade 2 Futurity Stakes at Belmont Park September 30. Micromanage - yet another Todd Pletcher pupil had a Maiden Special Weight score by five lengths at Saratoga September 1 in his debut but finished fifth last time out in his second start behind Shanghai Bobby in the Grade 1 Foxwoods Champagne at Belmont Park October 6.
Delhomme - the last of three Todd Pletcher colts in the field has two career starts - a second in his debut at Saratoga in August and a Maiden Special Weight score last time out at Belmont Park October 13.
Keep the Canoli - has a Maiden Special Weight and Allowance Optional Claiming win on his résumé in four career starts for trainer Gregory Sacco. Last time out was a respectable second in the minor Dover Stakes at Delaware Park October 6 behind Vegas No Show.
Irsaal - Kiaran McLaughlin trained colt that broke maiden in his second career start at Belmont Park two back. His other two career results were a sixth in a Maiden Special Weight in his career debut and a fifth last time out in the Grade 2 Nashua Stakes here November 4.

Quinzieme Monarque - Thomas Albertini colt has a trio of fourth place finishes in four career starts including in his stakes debut last time out at the Grade 3 Pilgrim Stakes at Belmont Park November 8. His other career result was a Maiden Special Weight score two back on that same track.
Normandy Invasion - Chad Brown pupil has two career starts but is coming off a win in a Maiden Special Weight race here November 2 to follow a fifth in his debut September 15 at Belmont Park.
