Las Vegas, NV -- Santa Anita Park's turf course will take center stage this weekend - March 25th when the Grade 2 Santa Ana Stakes headlines the Sunday card. Fillies and mares four years old and upward will be chasing a purse of $150,000 over a distance of 1 1/8 miles.
11 quality entries will go in Race 7 on Santa Anita's Sunday schedule with a post time of 3:36 PM. There are fair number of graded stakes winners among the field and a good majority of participants in last month's Grade 2 Buena Vista Handicap at Santa Anita will be back to try for a win this time around.
Let's take a closer look at the 11 participants and their recent performances.
Cambina - is a three time winner on this course but has had a tough time as of late finishing fifth in the Grade 2 Buena Vista Handicap at Santa Anita on February 20th and before that managing only an eighth place finish at the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf. However, Cambina won the Grade 1 American Oaks last year at this time and will be looking to get back in the winner's circle this week.

Bauble Queen - is coming off a very impressive win at the Grade 2 Robert J. Frankel Stakes on this track January 1st last time out. Before that she was a respectable third in the Bayakoa Handicap at Hollywood Park in December. In eight career starts, Bauble Queen has placed in six - three wins, two seconds and a third place finish.
City to City - won the competitive Grade 2 Buena Vista Stakes last time out and before that was fourth in the Grade 2 Robert J. Frankel Stakes on New Year's Day. City to City has three Grade 2 stakes wins in her career and enters as the most accomplished of the 11 participants.
Wild Mia - most recently finished third in the Buena Vista Handicap and before that was fourth in the Megahertz Stakes, both at Santa Anita. Wild Mia is ultra competitive but may not have the speed to overcome the three favorites.
Vamo a Galupiar - had some success in her native Chile and has four wins in seven career starts. She finished a disappointing sixth in the Buena Vista Stakes lately but before that was impressive in winning the Megahertz Stakes at Santa Anita January 21st.
Strawberrydaiquiri - has six wins in 17 career starts but has been less than impressive lately - a fourth in the Buena Vista and before that a 10th place in the Grade 1 E.P Taylor Stakes at Woodbine in October.
Andina - Irish bred filly has just four wins in 18 career starts. Andina finished 8th in the Buena Vista last time out and before that was fifth in the Swingtime Stakes in October at Santa Anita.
Camelia Rose - takes a big step up in competition after a pair of second place finishes in her last two starts - an Allowance at Santa Anita and at the Weight For Ages Stakes in August.
Imperialistic Diva - Irish bred filly that has only two wins in 14 career starts. Last time out she was second in an Allowance Optional Claiming race and before that was sixth in the Megahertz Stakes - both on this track.
Hard to Resist - has a pair of third place finishes in her last two starts in two Allowance Optional Claiming races - the last of which was at Santa Anita.
Hard Seven - only has four wins in seven career starts but has been OK lately with a second in the Mesa Handicap on March 10th and a win at the Sun City Handicap on February 18th - both at Turf Paradise.
