Las Vegas, NV - The Grade 2 Sanford Stakes comes our way this Sunday, July 22nd from Saratoga Race Course in upstate New York. Two year olds will be featured on Saratoga's main track as the females dash six furlongs for a $200,000 purse.

A field of nine juveniles has been entered for the Sanford including two promising Todd Pletcher colts. Both are eligible for $100,000 bonus as a two year old maiden winner at Belmont Park or Aqueduct that goes on to win a graded stakes race at a NYRA track in 2012. The race goes as race 9 on Saratoga's Sunday card with a post time of 5:20 PM. Here is a look at all nine entries and their recent ahead of this Grade 2 event.
