Las Vegas, NV - It was a relatively quiet week of graded stakes action this week - anticipation of the Breeders' Cup in just a couple of weeks is reaching a fever pitch! The majority of the action took place at Keeneland in Lexington Kentucky with one race taking place at the site of this year's Breeders' Cup Santa Anita. Let's take a look.
A perfectly timed ride by Julien Leparoux saw Ken and Sarah Ramsey's 3-1 third choice Kindergarden Kid slip between pacesetter 5-2 second choice Ioya Bigtime and Miami Deco to take Thursday's Grade 3, $100,000 Sycamore Stakes at Keeneland by a neck. Ioya Bigtime finished second over Miami Deco by a half-length. 5-2 favorite Musketier was a disappointing seventh.
